VP, Payment Operations Data Analytics

This role is responsible for driving payment innovation and efficiency through advanced data analytics and the strategic implementation of AI solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming payment processing, ensuring operational readiness for large-scale projects, and leading change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics:

• Drives payment innovation by leveraging data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and streamline payment processes.
• Utilizes data analytics to identify areas requiring improvement in payment processes, ensuring that decisions are data-driven.
• Creates and implements dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights into payment processing trends, user behavior, and system performance, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborates with stakeholders, including product managers and developers, to ensure that data analytics initiatives align with business objectives and operational needs.
• Stays updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve data analytics processes and outcomes.

Design and Implement AI Solutions:

• Oversees the design and implementation of AI solutions aimed at enhancing the efficiency of payment processing systems.
• Transforms payment processing through innovative AI technologies, driving greater efficiency, security, and customer satisfaction.
• Identifies opportunities for AI integration within payment systems, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Operational Readiness & Change Management:

• Develops and executes change management strategies to ensure successful implementation of new payment systems and processes.
• Collaborates with stakeholders, including project managers and product managers, to ensure operational readiness for large-scale projects, including comprehensive training and support for end-users.
• Monitors and assesses the impact of changes on operational processes, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Designs and implements metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management on progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in operations transformation, payment innovation, or data analytics.
• Proven track record in operational readiness and change management for large-scale projects, demonstrating the ability to lead initiatives from conception to successful implementation.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and end-users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and the ability to articulate design concepts and project goals clearly.
• Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within payment processes.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, particularly in the context of payment processing systems, and the ability to identify integration opportunities that enhance efficiency and security.
• Updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to payment systems and data analytics, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
