AI Scientist/Engineer
Responsibilities
The AI Scientist/Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced AI strategies to optimize SEO and accelerate content growth. This involves fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) for superior performance on specialized tasks and datasets, and developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based chatbots to deliver precise and contextually relevant responses. The role also includes deploying open-source LLMs efficiently across various applications and applying prompt engineering techniques, including those utilizing models like GPT-4, to refine model outputs. A key aspect of this position is designing and implementing AI Agents capable of generating human-like text to enhance user engagement and support. The individual will stay current with the latest advancements in NLP, LLMs, and other AI technologies, applying new methodologies to improve content generation and summarization. Additionally, they will assist in presenting model outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence by supporting team members in adopting AI technologies.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in technology-focused roles is required, with substantial exposure to natural language processing and large language models. Proficiency in developing and deploying machine learning models, including deep learning and Transformer-based architectures for NLP tasks, is essential. Practical experience with feature engineering, text summarization, content generation, and SEO optimization is also necessary. The role requires experience in fine-tuning LLMs for domain-specific applications, knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques for chatbot development, and experience in deploying open-source LLMs in production environments. Expertise in prompt engineering, particularly with models like GPT-4, is crucial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and effective collaboration with team members are expected. A solid understanding of AI-driven content strategies and their applications in enhancing user engagement and content growth, along with excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities, are also key.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in fast-paced or startup environments, or at top-tier technology firms, is a plus. Contributions to projects or research in NLP, particularly those relevant to AI Agents, AIGC, and Transformer models, are highly valued.
