Senior Associate – Insurance, BI&A – Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Description:
A prominent e-commerce company is seeking a Senior Associate to drive their business intelligence needs for seller e-commerce insurance business market expansion. This role involves utilizing data-driven insights to inform short and long-term business strategy. The successful candidate will adopt and lead an evidence-based, data-driven approach towards end-to-end process and business analysis for the implementation of seller e-commerce insurance businesses across various markets. This includes understanding and analyzing data sets from both the e-commerce platform and related financial domains. The position also entails supporting ad-hoc crucial data-related business measures and initiatives essential to proper business functioning, and developing a long-term strategy towards scaling such initiatives for a more automated and holistic solution. The Senior Associate will analyze the financial impact on topline and bottomline from seller e-commerce insurance initiatives across multiple regional markets for ongoing business growth planning. Furthermore, they will drive regular business performance reporting for key management and financial reporting, and for data-driven actionable business decisions and initiatives to ongoing business optimization across both commercial and operational aspects.
Requirements:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Statistics, or other related fields, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or more. Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply. Proficiency in data and analytics related technical skills, including MySQL, Presto SQL, Python, and Spark, is required. The ideal candidate will be motivated by, and capable of, analyzing and driving solutions to complex problems around both e-commerce operations and insurance domains. A deep curiosity about ways to improve the topline and bottomline of the business through insurance, by taking a data-driven approach in decision making and working closely with regional and local business teams, is essential. The role also requires excitement about, and appreciation for, working with and managing multiple stakeholders in a project, including effective working methods with various regional and local teams across multiple markets.
