Senior Data Scientist, Analytics
A prominent technology company is seeking a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Analytics. This role involves working with extensive and complex datasets to address technical and statistical challenges, ultimately contributing to significant business impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing metrics frameworks to assess product health, tracking key metrics, and identifying the root causes of any metric fluctuations.
This position also entails driving data-informed decisions regarding experiment launches and meticulously measuring the impact of product or technical modifications. The Senior Data Scientist will validate hypotheses, pinpoint opportunities for product growth, and influence improvement strategies through comprehensive analyses, experimentation, and other scientific methodologies. Collaboration with engineers and product stakeholders to deliver insightful product insights and strategic direction is also a key aspect of this role.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, econometrics, quantitative sociology, or a related scientific major, coupled with at least two years of relevant work experience.
Demonstrated expertise in SQL and proficiency in programming with Python or R.
A strong analytical and causal reasoning mindset, along with a rigorous approach to statistical correctness.
