User Growth Data Analyst
About the Team
The user growth team is a multidisciplinary and regional unit responsible for driving user growth through various approaches, including product development, marketing initiatives, and strategic partnerships. Their focus extends beyond new user acquisition to encompass robust user retention strategies.
Responsibilities
Analyze data for international short video products, focusing on key business indicators such as user growth and retention, and provide data-driven support and recommendations for decision-making.
Develop a comprehensive growth indicator system and target management mechanism. Construct and iterate on the data visualization system to offer data insights and analytical support for business growth.
Collaborate closely with product, strategy, marketing, and R&D departments to ensure the implementation of analytical conclusions and drive business-wide improvements.
Design and execute analysis plans, including A/B experiments and causal inference models, to validate or deduce business optimization and decision-making conclusions, providing efficient analytical methods.
Deconstruct and diagnose the driving factors behind business growth, investigate and attribute data anomalies, and build automated anomaly attribution tools.
Proactively think and summarize while supporting business development, and precipitate growth analysis methodology and data efficiency tools.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a preferred major in mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
At least two years of experience in data analysis, with a preference for experience in user growth.
Proficiency in data analysis and modeling skills, with familiarity in data mining, machine learning, A/B experiments, causal inference, and other analytical methods.
Skilled in using Hive, and proficient in SQL, Excel, Python, R, and other data analysis tools and programming languages.
Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and curiosity, possesses excellent communication skills and a teamwork spirit, and can collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
Exhibits strong data sensitivity and business acumen, capable of providing decision-making support for business growth through data analysis and modeling.
