Job Title: Information Technology – Data Analyst (Internal Audit)

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Collaborate with Data Scientists to build essential data pipelines for diverse datasets.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data utilized in reporting processes.
  • Data Analysis and Problem Solving: Employ data analytics techniques on both structured and unstructured data to detect patterns and anomalies, generating actionable insights for enhanced risk and control measures.
  • Outline data lineage to effectively trace the origins of anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain insightful reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Excel, and other Business Intelligence platforms.
  • Security and Compliance: Address potential data risks, particularly those concerning Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • Ensure the implementation of secure data handling practices throughout the data pipeline.
  • Business Decision Support:
    • Work closely with Internal Auditors to analyze extensive datasets, identify trends, and interpret results to inform data-driven operational risk decisions.
    • Provide data-backed recommendations to support strategic business decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, accompanied by 10+ years of experience in data analytics.
  • Significant experience with Tableau, data manipulation tools (e.g., Power BI), and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) within cloud-based data environments (e.g., AWS).
  • Proficiency in handling both structured and unstructured data formats.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in leveraging Generative AI to accelerate the delivery of solutions.
  • A strong passion for delivering value and achieving successful outcomes for the organization.
