Job Title: Assistant Manager, Data Scientist
Key Responsibilities
They are looking for an AI/ML Subject Matter Expert to guide teams of data scientists, data engineers, and other key stakeholders in a dynamic cross-functional and diverse environment. This individual will spearhead the development and execution of an AI/ML framework, ensuring thorough research and development of AI/ML technologies. They will strategize the design and deployment of AI/ML models using advanced tools and technologies. This role involves managing cross-functional teams to develop, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ML systems, standardizing and streamlining the continuous delivery of high-performing models in production. The ideal candidate will stay updated on new products and relevant industry trends in AI/ML and engage senior management with insights and outcomes to improve business processes and performance.
Key Requirements
Technical Skills:
Holds a degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, or Computer Science with 3-6 years of experience in AI/ML model development.
Proficient in Python and AI/ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
Demonstrates solid experience with prompt engineering for LLM-based applications.
Has experience developing agent-based systems and chatbots using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similar frameworks.
Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio or equivalent low-code/no-code AI platforms.
Possesses a strong foundation in deep learning, computer vision, and video/image analytics.
Experience in developing and deploying models and pipelines with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and ML Workspace.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams of data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists using a data cloud platform, such as Data Lakehouse with Databricks.
Soft Skills:
Experience in engaging with senior management on enterprise data-related strategies and policies.
Highly motivated, structured, and methodical with a high degree of initiative.
Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Able to work independently or cross-functionally.
