Job Description
As the First VP, Data Analytics within Group Wholesale Banking, you will spearhead large-scale data projects within the corporate domain, with a strong emphasis on driving business impact, particularly in the AFC/AML (Anti-Financial Crime/Anti-Money Laundering) space. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, integrating, and managing substantial volumes of both structured and unstructured data to create insightful datasets that address key business inquiries and enable advanced analytics. You will also be tasked with developing and validating machine learning models to generate actionable insights, especially within the AFC/AML domain.
Job Responsibilities
Lead large scale data projects in the corporate space to drive for business impact especially in AFC/AML space.
Analyze, integrate, and manage voluminous structure and unstructured data to develop insightful datasets to answer business questions and power advanced analytics.
Develop and validate machine learning models to generate actionable insights, especially the AFC/AML space.
Job Requirements
At least 10 years of solid data analytics experience.
Deep technical expertise with hands-on capability in Python/R or other programming languages.
Knowledge of dashboard tools (Qlik/Power BI) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of financial industry knowledge; consulting experience is a plus.
Knowledge of business processes like KYC (Know Your Customer), Name Screening, and Transaction Monitoring will be preferred.
Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
