Job Description: Assistant Manager – Business Intelligence Analyst

They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager – ShopeePay – Business Intelligence Analyst to lead and grow a regional BI team. This role involves ensuring delivery excellence and fostering strong collaboration across various markets. The ideal candidate will design, maintain, and scale data marts to guarantee accuracy, usability, and alignment among stakeholders. You will be responsible for building dashboards and reporting tools that deliver clear, actionable insights to inform critical business decisions. Solving complex business problems through structured analysis and effective data storytelling will be a key aspect of this role. Proactively identifying data-driven opportunities to optimize business strategies and collaborating closely with Business, Product, Marketing, Finance, and other teams on regional initiatives are also essential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science/Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Finance/Banking, Statistics, or other related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in BI or analytics, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with hands-on experience building and managing data pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
