Job Title: Senior Data Business Product Manager – Regional BI & Planning
Job Description:
As a Senior Data Business Product Manager, you will be pivotal in managing the lifecycle of key metrics within a centralized data mart. Your responsibilities will span project management, planning, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of data-driven insights. You will work closely with business users to understand their needs and translate them into actionable tasks for data teams, including Data PMs, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts. Collaboration with these teams will be essential to design and implement optimal data structures. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accurate implementation of logic changes in the data marts, reflecting the latest business definitions, and guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of key metrics. Prioritization of tasks, alignment of timelines, and effective management of stakeholder expectations across various teams will be critical to your success. Furthermore, you will proactively identify issues and gaps from both business and technical perspectives, proposing optimization solutions to enhance our data capabilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or above in any discipline
3-5 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and manage timelines and priorities effectively
Ability to explain complex technical concepts and implications in a simple manner
Proficiency in SQL and basic understanding of data architecture and data engineering
Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment
Detail-oriented and proactive attitude towards problem-solving
