Job Title: Data Pre-Sales Engineering
Your role and responsibilities
This role involves presenting the organization’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at both prospective and current clients. The individual will work directly with these stakeholders to demonstrate and communicate the value of the technology throughout the sales cycle, from initial demonstrations to proof of concept, design, and implementation. A key aspect of the role is staying informed about the evolving industry, maintaining a strong understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and effectively positioning the organization’s offerings in relation to them. Collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams will be necessary to continuously enhance products and marketing efforts.

Required technical and professional expertise
5 to 6 years of industry experience, including at least 4 years in a pre-sales environment.
Excellent presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, whether spontaneously on a whiteboard or through structured presentations and demonstrations.
Extensive experience with large-scale database and data warehouse technologies, Datalake, Lakehouse as well as ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies (e.g., Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric).
Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
Significant experience in the Singapore Market.
Ability to align a customer’s specific business challenges with the organization’s solutions.
Skilled in conducting in-depth discovery of a customer’s architectural framework and relating it to the organization’s Data Architecture.
A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field is preferred; a master’s in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus.
