GenAI Architect Lead
🌐 Responsibilities
The GenAI Architect Lead will spearhead the strategic direction and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives across the enterprise. This individual will be responsible for defining and executing the AI/GenAI roadmap in alignment with overarching business objectives. They will establish and maintain enterprise-wide AI governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and ethical AI practices. A key aspect of the role involves actively engaging with stakeholders across various departments to champion AI adoption and articulate its potential for value creation.
This leader will guide the design, development, and rigorous testing of groundbreaking AI/GenAI solutions. They will champion the exploration and implementation of use cases leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), intelligent chatbots, and process automation, with a particular focus on Microsoft’s suite of tools and technologies. The role entails the critical evaluation of AI models, providing expert architectural guidance, and establishing best practices for AI development and deployment.
Ensuring the security and responsible use of AI solutions is paramount. The GenAI Architect Lead will implement robust security and risk management frameworks for all AI initiatives, along with establishing clear governance protocols for responsible AI usage. Furthermore, this individual will be instrumental in developing comprehensive training programs aimed at upskilling internal teams on AI tools and capabilities, fostering an internal AI knowledge-sharing ecosystem to promote learning and collaboration.
The responsibilities also include providing ongoing support and actively driving continuous improvement efforts for deployed AI solutions, ensuring their sustained effectiveness and alignment with evolving business needs.
✅ Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 12 years of experience within the IT sector, with at least 8 years specifically dedicated to the development and implementation of AI applications. Prior experience within the banking industry is highly preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related field is required, complemented by relevant certifications in Azure, AI, and Data Science.
A strong foundational expertise in Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Generative AI (GenAI), including practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Llama, and Claude, as well as frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, is essential. Proficiency in the Azure AI stack, Microsoft OpenAI services, Cosmos DB, MLOps, DataOps, and modern data architectures is critical.
Hands-on experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as PowerBI and Tableau is expected. The candidate must demonstrate a proven track record of successfully leading AI teams and delivering impactful enterprise-level AI solutions. Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills are necessary to effectively drive AI initiatives across the organization. A deep understanding of AI governance principles, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies is also a key requirement for this role.
