The data science team within this group utilizes AI technologies to provide driver partners with strategic, data-driven instructions and incentives, aiming to improve supply utilization given market conditions.
Get to Know the Role
As Lead Data Scientist, the individual will spearhead data science development efforts and coordinate collaboration with various functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, and Design. This role involves leveraging big data to derive actionable insights and design innovative solutions. The responsibilities include developing deep learning, reinforcement learning, and optimization models to address challenges related to supply repositioning, activation, and incentivization within the company’s marketplace. Reporting to the Senior Data Science Manager, this position is based onsite in their One North office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems and requirements related to driver repositioning, activation, and incentivization.
Translate business problems into data science problems, formulating and designing potential solutions.
Create technical documents outlining methodologies and findings, and present solutions to business stakeholders to ensure agreement.
Design overall architectures for solutions in collaboration with different technical teams, develop data science solutions, and lead integration with Engineering systems.
Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards.
Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the impact of solutions.
Mentor junior team members.
