Backend Engineer, Data AML Engine
Responsibilities
An ideal candidate will build an effective toolchain to improve development performance. They will introduce new AI technologies to the online system, supporting billions of users worldwide. This role involves improving system reliability and managing challenges related to scale and complexity. The engineer will optimize system performance from hardware and handle a massive volume of requests. Responsibilities also include researching, designing, and developing computer and network software or specialized utility programs, analyzing user needs to develop software solutions using computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles. Updating software, enhancing existing software capabilities, and developing and directing software testing and validation procedures are also key. Collaboration with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements will be necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Strong programming and coding experience with at least one modern language such as C/C++, Golang, Python.
Experience contributing to large-scale distributed systems and multi-tenant systems (architecture, reliability, and scaling).
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, self-motivation, engineering practice, and documentation skills.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems like Spark and Elasticsearch.
Familiarity with web technologies such as Django / Flask / React.JS etc.
