Data Engineer

What the role is

This role involves being part of a technologically advanced team that supports the Data Analytics function.2 The position offers opportunities for learning and discovering new cutting-edge techniques within this specialized domain.3 The individual will experience the full lifecycle of data, from ingestion and optimization to data analysis, ensuring the timely delivery of data insights.4

What you will be working on

  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize data pipeline architecture.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to optimize the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse data sources using SQL and Big Data technologies.5
  • Evaluate Data Analytics technologies to recommend tools and frameworks that optimize data processing and analysis.

What we are looking for

  • Experience using common scripting languages such as Python, SQL, Scala, Spark, or PowerShell will be preferred.6
  • Applicants with no prior experience are welcome to apply.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve or analyze problems systematically.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
