Job Description
A skilled IT Manager is sought to oversee IT system development and delivery. This role involves managing the planning, execution, and delivery of application systems projects, as well as ensuring efficient IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end applications development activities.
Lead full-stack enterprise application design and maintenance.
Lead and mentor data scientists and developers throughout the system development lifecycle.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for efficient software development.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver technical solutions.
Lead the development and implementation of IT policies and best practices.
Monitor IT performance and recommend improvements for software development capabilities.
Prepare and maintain IT documentation in compliance with security policies and regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend security enhancements for a secure software development environment.
Manage IT operations (hardware, software, networks, cloud infrastructure) ensuring integration with software development.
Maintain the security, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data.
Plan, execute, and manage IT projects, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements aligned with software development goals.
Develop project plans, track progress, and manage resources.
Engage with technical and non-technical teams, stakeholders, and external groups.
Communicate project status updates and risks.
Conduct project post-mortems for continuous improvement in software development processes.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years experience as an IT Manager or similar role in application integration, software development, and implementation.
Experience implementing AI, machine learning, and data-driven solutions (strong advantage).
Expertise in programming languages (Python, Java, C#, or similar).
Experience with Next.JS react framework.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of databases, APIs, and microservices architecture.
Background in IT or Information Security (network, server, application, endpoint, email, physical, and logical access security).
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (WAN, LAN, Internet, Voice & Video, structured cabling).
Expertise in security operations and technologies (Imperva DAM, firewalls, CyberArk PAM, Anti-virus, HIPS, EDR, MFA, Vulnerability Management).
Hands-on experience with platform technologies (Windows, Linux, VMware, MacOS).
Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide solutions.
