Job Description

A Data Analyst is sought to act as a crucial link between data and business objectives, providing profound insights that inform strategic decision-making. This role involves a constant pursuit of innovative methods to enhance game operations. The individual will be responsible for delivering timely data services, including extraction, analysis, solution development, and visualization. Providing guidance on optimal data extraction techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability is also key. The analyst will conduct thorough data investigations into business challenges, driving problem-solving by formulating hypotheses and proposing relevant data solutions. Collaboration with Data Scientists on machine learning initiatives to gain deeper understanding of user behaviors is expected. Responsibilities also include designing and implementing data pipelines to streamline the retrieval and analysis of critical information, as well as addressing ad-hoc data requests from various internal teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a data-related role is preferred. Highly analytical fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in SQL or Python, with a solid understanding of statistical modeling and basic knowledge of machine learning with prior practical experience.
  • A strong interest in AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), with the ability to explore and suggest potential AI-powered solutions for business process improvement and optimization.
  • Strong logical reasoning skills with the ability to articulate data insights clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • A proactive learner who can adapt quickly to a dynamic work environment.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for the gaming industry is considered advantageous.
  • A general passion for games with at least a foundational understanding of the gaming industry.
