Wealth and Personal Banking has four key business areas responsible for efficiently bringing the best of to clients through a broad and relevant suite of wealth and retail banking capabilities: Asset Management, Global Private Banking & Wealth, Life, Retail Banking & Strategy and COO & Digital Transformation.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Data Analytics.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyse large volumes of data to identify key insights related to product performance, customer behaviour and sales opportunities. Provide recommendations based on findings to guide strategic business decision
  • Reporting & Visualization: Build and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and regular reports to monitor key metrics and trends. Present data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Portfolio Optimization: Provide actionable insights to optimize pricing strategies, product offerings, and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities for mortgages and payments products
  • Campaign Analysis: Support marketing and product teams by analysing the campaign opportunity and post campaign analysis, providing recommendations for targeting criteria and improvement
  • Process Improvement: Streamline data processes and reporting using automation tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, digital, risk and sales teams to drive business decisions and deliver data-driven recommendations
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide data-driven insights for ad-hoc business questions and initiatives
  • Data Integrity & Quality: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by conducting audits, identifying gaps, and resolving data quality issues

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or a related quantitative field
  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and Excel. Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik sense, Tableau or Power BI is a plus
  • Analytical Ability: Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and distill meaningful business insights from data
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or product analysis. Experience in the financial services, payments is preferred but not required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with customer segmentation, propensity modelling, or credit risk analysis is a plus
  • Knowledge of the mortgage and/or payments industry is preferred
