A leading financial services organization committed to innovation and digital transformation, seeking a highly motivated and experienced VP/SVP, Data Translator to join their Analytics Center of Excellence within their Group Transformation team. This role is pivotal in driving the organization’s data-driven strategy and maximizing the value of data across various business functions.

Business Function

The Transformation Group focuses on fostering a culture of digital excellence. Their approach combines scientific rigor with creative design thinking, empowering stakeholders through experimentation and building strong connections between internal innovation and external startups. The team is multidisciplinary, dedicated to developing solutions that significantly enhance how people live, work, and interact with the organization.

Responsibilities

The organization has initiated a Data First transformation to become a truly data-driven entity. This program centers on maximizing data value by enhancing data analytics capabilities and culture, ensuring seamless access to high-quality data, and establishing a scalable and secure data platform. The Analytics Centre of Excellence, under Data First, drives the adoption of a Data Driven Operating Model and industrializes AI practices.

As an Analytics Translator within the Analytics Centre of Excellence, you will:

  • Understand business drivers and priorities, identifying opportunities for significant value creation through analytics.
  • Translate business problems and opportunities into clear, actionable analytics requirements and propose effective solutions.
  • Act as a crucial link between product owners and data scientists to facilitate the experimentation, development, testing, and deployment of data-driven solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate and implement new techniques and technologies to address business challenges.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics techniques, including predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of the banking domain and strong business analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively navigate and achieve results in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Strong management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a passion for helping businesses leverage data.
  • Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a more senior position.
