Job Title: Associate, Data/Business Analyst (Deposit, Payment and Secured Lending), Consumer Banking

Business Function:

Support the Consumer Banking Group by developing and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance customer experiences across products, segments, and channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities aligned with business goals.
  • Apply advanced analytics and machine learning to uncover patterns and inform decision-making.
  • Develop data visualizations and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Create analytical frameworks and AI/ML solutions to derive actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with data scientists on AI/ML and generative AI projects.
  • Stay updated on AI/ML trends and drive process improvements.
  • Implement workflows to ensure data quality and operational efficiency.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks, UAT, and contribute to data transformation projects.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Analytics, Management Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of data analytics/AIML experience in the Banking or financial industry.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, R, data visualization tools (QlikSense), and big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with statistical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese.
