Strategic Planning Analyst/Senior Analyst – Marketplace, Regional BI & Planning

Job Description:

The Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team plays a critical role in conducting close-loop data-driven business iterations. As business intelligence specialists and data analysts, our scope of work is not limited to just performance monitoring and reporting, but also in proactively finding actionable insights to help drive high-impact business changes. Our end-to-end data solution reduces the gap between the business teams and technical teams, and achieves real ‘intelligence’ in the iteration cycle.

About the Team:

The Strategic Planning and Analytics team supports the Group President and the rest of the Top Leadership’s initiatives across e-commerce, Consumer Lending, and Digital Banking businesses by closely collaborating with Regional and Local teams on a variety of topics covering two major streams:

  • Regular Top Leadership analytical support for key meetings, including Management Board and Board of Directors
  • Ad-hoc projects covering key topics like marketing spend efficiency, monetisation improvements, new opportunity assessment, etc.

Job Description:

  • Conduct project-based deep dives into key aspects of the company’s business, covering topics like monetisation and spending efficiency improvements, focusing on market research, financial, and data analytics.
  • Coordinate insights / run joint projects with relevant Business teams to identify new opportunities / drive measurable improvements in performance.
  • Prepare executive-level materials for Group President and Leadership team as part of both regular analytical support and key project updates.

Requirements:

  • One to four years of full-time experience in strategy consulting, or in-house strategy teams from a high-performing organisation. Other professional and financial services, e-commerce or any related field are also welcome to apply.
  • Proven track record in complex problem solving using quantitative and qualitative techniques and curiosity in root causes of problems is a must.
  • Proficiency in one or several analytical tools like MS Excel, Alteryx, Python, SQL, etc.
  • Strong communication and process management skills – or willingness to improve them in a dynamic environment.
