What you will be working on

• Lead cross-functional teams and the Data Analytics Team in the implementation of approved data analytics, network analysis, and AI solutions, both internally and externally, to deepen data analytics and AI capabilities. This includes developing a data analytics and AI training roadmap and conducting knowledge-sharing sessions within the organization, across agencies, and in industry forums.
• Develop and execute data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategies to achieve data transformation objectives and desired outcomes, ensuring alignment with Whole-of-Government (WOG) directions and initiatives.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of management dashboards, end-to-end automation of the data lifecycle, and data lineage.
• Drive data and AI capability development, including the adoption of data and AI analytics tools, platforms, and development use cases within the organization, and support cross-agency initiatives.
• Lead the team in developing and maintaining a 3-to-5-year Data and AI Analytics roadmap, incorporating AI ethics considerations, to establish deliverables and milestones for achieving desired business outcomes.
• Coordinate the planning, prioritization, and integration of data and AI analytics initiatives in collaboration with all divisions and across government entities.
• Manage and report on the progress of data and AI analytics initiatives.
• Drive key data and AI analytics initiatives from conceptualization to implementation, focusing on organization-wide impact, such as UDAP and compliance risk profile modeling. This involves close collaboration with project sponsors/owners and division representatives.
• Manage the data platform and tools, and propose data roadmap enhancements and additions of data capabilities based on new data trends, insights, and AI needs.
• Participate in WOG data and AI governance and ethics forums to deepen organizational data analytics and AI capabilities.
• Lead the Unique Entity Number (UEN) development and administration.

What we are looking for

• Professional qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with implementation and involvement in multiple project cycles of diverse projects involving technologies such as AI, Data Analytics, and digital solutions on cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience in system implementation and vendor management in medium-scale projects, preferably in the finance or accounting industry.
