Lead MLOps Engineer/MLOps Engineer, xData
What the role is
In this role, you will build and optimize machine learning pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment of models, scaling solutions, and playing a pivotal role in safeguarding the nation. You’ll have the opportunity to directly contribute to critical goals by developing and implementing robust MLOps practices.
What you will be working on
The job-holder is expected to collaborate with various teams and is responsible to:
a. Work closely with data scientists and other engineers to understand model requirements and deployment needs.
b. Translate ML models into scalable APIs to facilitate model interaction with other software components within the application.
c. Develop scripts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and ML environments, ensuring consistency and reliability.
d. Implement scripts and tools to monitor application health and model performance, utilising proper logging, monitoring and alerting systems to track key performance metrics.
What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in STEM disciplines.
• Applicants with system architecture design and product deployment experience will be considered for more senior positions.
• Proficiency in the following technologies:
o Container management and orchestration tools (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes)
o Deep Learning Frameworks (e.g, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
o ML Ops / DevSecOps Tools (e.g, Git, Jenkins, Terraform)
o Cloud Platforms (e.g, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
