Senior Data Scientist – Dynamic Pricing & Optimization

Job Description

The Pricing Data Science team works to create efficient, self-optimizing pricing products that adapt to market conditions. This role involves building and maintaining dynamic pricing systems that automatically adjust booking and order fares based on changing conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build self-optimizing pricing products that adjust fares dynamically in response to market conditions.
  • Establish pipelines for automating model parameter tuning and serving in a scalable way.
  • Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high development standards.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to monitor and track the health and performance of data science solutions.
  • Create technical documentation and present complex solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay current with the latest techniques and apply this knowledge to your work.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, or Software Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in areas such as reinforcement learning, optimization, causal inference, or deep learning.
  • Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, SQL, and Spark. Experience writing efficient SQL queries and maintainable Python/TensorFlow code.
  • Ability to develop ETL pipelines to support data analysis, model training, and model serving tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and understanding of the software development lifecycle.
