Associate, Full Stack Data Engineer – Group Data Office

Job Description
As an Associate, Full Stack Data Engineer, you will enable data architecture, design data analytics platforms, and deploy advanced data solutions. Your work will involve data management, analytics, and AI/ML product development, ensuring scalable, secure, and ethical data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable data pipelines to process large volumes of data.
  • Design and build data models and ETL processes to maintain data quality and integrity.
  • Develop scalable microservices, APIs, and fault-tolerant solutions.
  • Work on CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and hybrid data architectures.
  • Implement and deploy AI/ML solutions, monitor model performance, and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape analytics roadmaps and drive adoption across teams.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in data pipelines, ETL processes, and physical data modeling.
    • Hands-on experience with Python, Java, orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), and cloud technologies (e.g., EC2, EMR, Snowflake).
    • Skilled in modern data methodologies like data mesh and building data products.
    • Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., LangChain, TensorFlow, MLFlow, Scikit-learn).
    • Experience with REST services, JSON data, and Linux/Unix Shell scripting.
    • Familiar with deployment tools like Jenkins and Ansible.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and handle complex, cross-functional challenges.
    • Flexible, adaptable to changing demands, and adept at working with multicultural teams.
  • Education and Experience:
    • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics) with at least 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering, MLOps, or full-stack development.
    • Certifications in relevant technologies or frameworks are a plus.
