Job Description:
Assistant Manager, Health Informatics
You will be responsible for:
- Gathering data from multiple sources, processing and analyzing it to provide trending observations and insights to aid in the planning for the organization.
- Ensuring timely generation of regular reports based on established reporting requirements.
- Working with multiple stakeholders at the organizational, cluster, and ministry levels.
- Designing, creating, and maintaining powerful visualizations and models that illuminate opportunities to support strategic planning and initiatives, improve organizational performance, project future demand, and advance progress towards population health outcomes and impact, including conceptualizing, defining, and developing actionable visualizations and dashboards.
- Planning, developing, and executing a data management strategy, data roadmap, data defect management, reporting/dashboard automation, and training to meet the organization’s strategic needs and requirements, improve productivity, and build NUP analytics capabilities.
- Managing and maintaining data repositories with IHIS and department stakeholders, including providing the necessary knowledge sharing for the department’s effective use of the repositories for their departmental needs.
- Managing, improving, and governing the relevant policies and guidelines pertaining to data and data-related systems and audits.
- Performing any other duties assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements:
- Degree from an established university in a related field such as statistics, data science, business analytics, analytics, or applied mathematics.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or Public Health will be an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Applicants with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in planning and data analytics environments will be considered for senior positions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, experience working with Tableau for data analysis, integration, and creation of dashboards, and at least 1 of the data processing languages: Excel macros, R, SQL, Python.
- Knowledge of OBIEE, H2O Flow, Flexsim, and regression methods would be advantageous.
- Adaptive and fast learner.
- A team player with excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Resourceful and analytical, with the ability to synergize data concisely for decision support.
- Good in strategic planning and time management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
