Job Description:
Compliance Senior Manager/Manager (Digital Risk & Compliance Consulting)
This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in regulatory compliance, preferably within a consulting or banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute regulatory change management initiatives, including implementing new regulatory requirements and addressing regulatory gaps.
- Oversee Client Lifecycle Management processes, encompassing client classification, risk rating, KYC, and Transaction Monitoring.
- Demonstrate in-depth familiarity with relevant regulations such as FATF, MAS 626, and other applicable laws.
- Leverage experience as an ex-regulator or extensive experience interacting with regulators on AML/KYC/CFT matters.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance, data privacy (PDPA, GDPR), and data quality frameworks (BCBS 239).
- Successfully lead and deliver projects, ensuring effective change management throughout the process.
- Effectively manage and mentor a team of compliance professionals, including virtual and overseas teams.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders through excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and the agility to adapt to evolving challenges.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Regulatory change management
- Client Lifecycle Management
- AML/KYC/CFT
- Preferred: Experience within a consulting or banking firm.
- Certifications in ACAMS preferred.
- Accredited trainings in Data Governance / Data Privacy (PDPA, GDPR) / Data Quality (BCBS 239).
- Proven track record in project delivery and change management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
