Engagement Manager (Delivery), Senior Manager, Technology Consulting, Data & Analytics
Job Description:
This role requires a highly motivated and experienced leader to drive the successful delivery of data and analytics projects for our clients. As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for the overall project lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and exceeding business outcomes. You will lead a talented team, manage project financials, and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Excellence:
Oversee the delivery of end-to-end data and analytics projects, including data strategy, platform implementation, machine learning/AI applications, and data governance.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of technical leads, project managers, and subject matter experts.
Align client satisfaction and project objectives with commercial goals (revenue and margin).
Act as the primary client engagement lead, fostering strong relationships and maintaining open communication.
Keep senior leadership informed on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
Business Development:
Generate new client leads by leveraging existing relationships and cultivating new ones.
Lead business development initiatives, from lead qualification to proposal development and client presentations.
People Management:
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Contribute to recruitment and retention initiatives.
Guide and develop the technical and functional skills of your team.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
10-12 years of experience in data and analytics projects (data warehousing, data analytics, business intelligence, and machine learning).
6-8 years of experience delivering full SDLC lifecycle projects within a Consulting or Systems Integration (SI) environment.
4-6 years of experience leading data and analytics projects as a delivery lead, with proven responsibility for overall project outcomes (client and commercial).
Experience in at least one of the following industries or domains: Government and Public Services, Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Financial Services, Retail, Consumer Products.
Skills:
Deep expertise in at least one of the following Data & Analytics domains: data strategy development, data warehousing & big data implementation, business intelligence applications, machine learning/artificial intelligence domains.
Strong understanding of the Information Management framework, including operating model, data governance, data management, data security, data quality, and data architecture.
Proven ability to implement and deliver projects using Agile methodologies, leveraging DevOps automation and engineering principles (CI/CD tools, code repositories, issue tracking).
Experience developing analytics applications on public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Certifications in Data Analytics tools and environments (big data technologies, cloud certifications, data integration, data management, or visualization tools) are a plus.
