Engagement Manager (Sales), Senior Manager, Technology Consulting, Data & Analytics
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Engage with senior client management to translate their business strategy and requirements into data and analytics solutions and services.
- Develop strategic visions for data and analytics within the client context.
- Collaborate with solution architects and other subject matter experts to develop implementation roadmaps and architecture blueprints.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while effectively communicating the company’s unique data and analytics offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop comprehensive solutions that address client needs.
- Conduct detailed analyses of client requirements and technical environments to create high-level solution designs.
- Take ownership of developing compelling commercial proposals (RFP responses, proactive proposals) to address specific client needs.
- Analyze market trends and client demands to anticipate and drive relevant internal asset and accelerator development initiatives.
- People Management:
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Contribute to people-related initiatives, including recruitment and retention strategies.
- Guide and develop the technical and functional skills of team members.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in data and analytics projects (data and analytics strategy, data warehousing, data analytics, business intelligence, and machine learning).
- 6-8 years of consulting experience working with third-party clients in a pre-sales or sales role.
- Experience in at least one of the following industries or domains: Government and Public Services, Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Financial Services, Retail, or Consumer Products.
- Proven ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives.
- Deep understanding of data analytics principles and the business challenges associated with implementing data analytics solutions.
- Skills:
- Ability to explain complex analytics methodologies, technologies, and architectural principles to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively evaluate and compare different architecture options, tools, technologies, and platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver polished and professional presentations to C-suite and board-level executives.
- Proven track record of public speaking engagements at conferences, seminars, and industry events (advantageous).
- Relevant certifications in data analytics tools and environments (big data technologies, cloud certifications, data integration, data management, or visualization tools) (advantageous).
