Workforce Manager (Capacity Planner)
Role & Responsibilities
- Administer workforce management, encompassing all the processes involved in site operations; ensuring the right number of staff are available at the right time.
- Partner with internal teams to determine optimal Auto-Moderation levels to maximize human-review performance.
- Continuously identify and address forecasting performance gaps. Develop and own OKRs to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with Workforce Capacity Planners, Operations, and cross-functional teams to create staffing models that optimize cost and achieve measurable business objectives.
- Coordinate with operations teams to address headcount requirements and explore cross-utilization opportunities during unexpected increases in moderation volumes or absenteeism.
- Monitor operational performance to ensure optimal productivity and results. Evaluate schedules to align with incoming volumes and assess potential productivity, quality, and customer service standards through the analysis of performance statistics and financial results.
- Drive continuous improvement in WFM processes, tools, and systems, including streamlining and optimizing headcount allocation and real-time management.
- Serve as the Point of Contact, providing ad-hoc and regular support to stakeholders such as the policy team, product and system leads, and regional operations site managers.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in data science, business, or product analytics.
- Proven experience in workforce management, with a strong focus on hands-on capacity planning within a multi-channel and multi-site tech or media company. Experience in ads or content moderation is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of workforce management principles, including volume and headcount forecasting, shift planning and scheduling, performance monitoring, and process/system optimization.
- Expertise in Excel, advanced SQL skills, and knowledge and experience of various forecasting models/methods.
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy, or Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey business messages to diverse audiences.
- Experience developing reports and visualization dashboards.
- Strong problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up, and quick learning skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with dedication, passion, and motivation.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or a related field is preferred.
