      Data Scientist – Governance and Experience, Singapore

      Job Description:
      As a Data Scientist, you will be part of the e-commerce data science team, responsible for applying quantitative techniques, such as mathematical statistics and machine learning, to maximize e-commerce transaction efficiency. You will measure and monitor seller and listing governance metrics in Southeast Asia, collaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes and action plans, and provide solutions to business partners. You will conduct deep analysis of governance metrics to uncover opportunities in repurchase, retention, and conversion. Additionally, you will design and analyze A/B experiments to optimize strategies.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Measure and monitor key seller and listing governance metrics in the Southeast Asia region, such as CCR, ONRR, and NBFR.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes and develop action plans.
      • Establish and maintain governance metrics systems to identify and resolve related problems.
      • Conduct in-depth analysis to explore opportunities for improving repurchase, retention, and conversion.
      • Design and conduct A/B experiments to improve effectiveness and optimize strategies.

      What You’ll Bring:

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a focus on science, engineering, or related fields in data statistics, analysis, or modeling.
      • Proficiency in SQL, and experience with Python or R for data analysis.
      • Ability to write documents in English and communicate effectively with global teams.
      • Strong learning ability, curiosity to quickly acquire new domain knowledge, and the ability to lead small project teams.
      • Ability to work under pressure and overcome challenges.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience in e-commerce business and analysis.
      • Overseas business experience or analytical experience.
      • A degree in mathematics, statistics, or computer science is preferred.
