      Senior Data Scientist – Global E-Commerce (Supply Chain and Logistics)

      Company Overview:

The supply chain and logistics team is focused on creating a seamless global network, providing low-cost, high-efficiency solutions to support various business models and improve consumer satisfaction.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Perform data science and analytics for international e-commerce supply chain and logistics.
      • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to optimize merchant and supply chain management.
      • Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to enhance logistics functionalities using data-driven approaches.
      • Analyze and evaluate the impact of logistics strategies, enabling capabilities like forecasting and simulation to improve decision-making.

      Qualifications:
      Minimum Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields, with at least 3 years of experience in data mining, machine learning, or operational research.
      • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis/modeling using R or Python; familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, or Flink is a plus.
      • Expertise in data analytics, mining techniques, machine learning, or optimization algorithms, with a strong foundation in deep learning principles.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively in a team.
      • Solid cross-team collaboration, business acumen, and excellent communication skills, with a resilience to embrace new challenges and technologies.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Prior experience in supply chain or logistics.
      • Practical knowledge in big data or algorithm engineering is an advantage.
