      Data Scientist, AI Lab

      Job Description
      This role involves leveraging structured and unstructured data to address real business challenges, developing machine learning models, and maintaining them in production to deliver impactful results.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging big data and data science to enhance customer and business outcomes.
      • Develop and maintain machine learning/deep learning models, including advanced reinforcement learning systems and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) models.
      • Deploy and monitor production models, ensuring accuracy and performance using MLOps tools and processes.
      • Set up controls and monitoring frameworks to manage model performance effectively.

      Requirements

      Specific Knowledge

      • 2+ years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models, with a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).
      • Strong programming skills with an understanding of software engineering design patterns and best practices.
      • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Trino, and Spark.
      • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, GIT/Bitbucket).
      • A passion for AI and ML, with a commitment to continuous learning.

      Communication & Soft Skills

      • Ability to execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
      • Creativity to interpret data and translate insights into actionable outcomes for non-technical stakeholders.
      • Strong communication skills and a results-driven mindset.
      • A genuine drive to master new technologies and techniques.
