      Data Scientist (Data Science Track)

      Job Description

      • Contribute as a member of an in-house AI and data science team focused on AI advancements, including generative AI, autonomous agents, NLP, computer vision, and recommender systems.
      • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop impactful AI and data science features and services, propose scalable ML/DL solutions, and deploy them as API microservices for effective decision-making.
      • Supervise technical deliverables from external technology partners, provide datasets, and support validation and deployment of partner-supplied prediction models.
      • Partner with application development teams to operationalize and integrate AI/ML capabilities through API microservices.
      • Assignments may include placement with subsidiaries within the organization.

      Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
      • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with algorithm design, data structures, and SQL. Knowledge of programming languages such as Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C# is a plus.
      • Experience with big-data processing systems like Spark and Kafka.
      • Hands-on experience as a data scientist or AI engineer, with strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning concepts. Familiarity with “An Introduction to Statistical Learning – with Applications in Python” (2023) is advantageous.
      • Exposure to modern tools like LLM frameworks, GPU-accelerated deep learning frameworks, and Bayesian statistics/inference is a plus.
      • Experience working in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies is an advantage.
