      Data Scientist – Local Services

      Company Overview:

Its Data Science team is instrumental in driving business growth by providing valuable insights and solving complex problems through advanced data analysis.

      Job Description:

      Responsibilities:

      • Lead and execute data analysis projects, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
      • Develop a deep understanding of user traffic, merchants, creators, platforms, and ecosystems to define scientific metrics that accurately reflect the business situation.
      • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify potential improvement opportunities across various business and technical directions.
      • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement A/B experiments or observational studies. Provide recommendations for decision-making and ensure continuous optimization through data analysis conclusions.
      • Proactively identify business pain points, operational inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, delivering actionable suggestions to enhance business performance.

      Qualifications:

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in statistics, computer science, economics, data science, quantitative analysis, or related fields.
      • Proficiency in SQL and experience using programming languages such as R or Python.
      • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify relationships between data and business performance.
      • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
      • Willingness to grow with the business in its early stages and contribute to its development.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Background in local services, e-commerce, short videos, or related industries is an advantage.
