      Big Data Engineer (Ecommerce Recommendation Infrastructure)

      Job Description:

      Responsibilities:

      • Design and implement efficient offline data architectures for large-scale recommendation systems.
      • Develop and implement flexible, scalable, and high-performance storage and computing systems.
      • Troubleshoot production systems and design mechanisms and tools to ensure operational stability.
      • Build leading distributed systems such as storage and computing to provide reliable infrastructure for massive data and large-scale business systems.
      • Develop and implement techniques to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
      • Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
      • Visualize, interpret, and report data findings, potentially creating detailed data reports.

      Qualifications:

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
      • Familiarity with open-source frameworks in the big data field, such as Hadoop, Hive, Flink, FlinkSQL, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Redis, RocksDB, ElasticSearch, etc.
      • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and C++.
      • Strong coding and troubleshooting skills.

      • Agile, quick self-learner with strong motivation, product ownership, and creative problem-solving abilities.
      • A good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast-moving, culturally diverse, and globally distributed team environment.
