Lead Data Scientist (Generative AI)

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers to develop and support Generative AI services in Asia, including talent management, coaching, and team development.
Collaborate with Data Engineers and IT Subject Matter Experts to understand source data and prepare it for Generative AI-based solutions.
Develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning models to tackle complex business challenges, focusing on Generative AI technologies like RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) and Multi-Agent approaches.
Work closely with partners to gather requirements, design data models, and deploy customized solutions aligned with the company’s Generative AI architecture.
Establish best practices and standardized processes for Generative AI solutions to be adopted by other teams.
Drive the adoption of Generative AI insights by collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
Explore creative methods to source and leverage structured and unstructured data for Generative AI solutions using Open AI services.
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements in AI/ML, with a specific focus on Generative AI technologies.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of experience in Generative AI.
Proven expertise in developing and scaling Generative AI solutions on Azure.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and prompt engineering tools (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, Llamaindex).
Hands-on experience with data frameworks (Azure, Databricks, Spark) and cloud platforms.
Strong communication and leadership skills to guide data science teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in insurance analytics, leveraging Generative AI on Azure and OpenAI.
