      Sr/Data Analyst (IMI Service)

      Job Description

      As a Sr/Data Analyst, you will play a critical role within the Department of Infectious Diseases. This position involves managing, analyzing, and reporting on data related to the ICU Multidisciplinary Infectious Diseases (IMI) service, Haematology-Infectious Diseases clinical service, and related projects.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Manage existing databases, including data extraction, cleaning, processing, and analysis for reports.
      • Develop new databases for clinical audits, surveillance programs, and research projects.
      • Design systems and methodologies for managing and extracting complex data from various sources.
      • Create and maintain documentation, including standards, best practices, policies, and procedures.
      • Conduct presentations on data structures, analysis methods, and results.
      • Prepare quarterly to annual reports related to IMI services and other related services.
      • Support research activities as directed by the Head of IMI Service.
      • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including ICU physicians, ID physicians, microbiologists, and pharmacists.
      • Actively participate in hospital-wide and departmental quality improvement projects.
      • Provide additional support during infectious disease outbreaks or as directed by supervisors.

      Qualifications

      Requirements:

      • Proficiency in managing databases, analytical and reporting tools, and logical data modeling.
      • Strong ability to process and analyze data in various formats.
      • Excellent skills in presentation software and communication.
      • Prior experience in healthcare settings is preferred.
      • High integrity and commitment to maintaining patient data confidentiality.
      • Eagerness to learn and contribute proactively as a team member.
