      Engineer / Lead Engineer, AI Engineering, AI Products

      Job Description:
      As an AI Engineer or Lead AI Engineer, you will work within a dynamic team to design and develop AI solutions for real-world applications. This includes creating machine learning and deep learning models to address specific use cases and contributing to the integration of AI technologies in critical projects. The role demands a proactive, solutions-driven individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills.

      Responsibilities Include:

      • Develop and train machine learning/deep learning models, including large/multi-modal models, for real-world applications.
      • Conduct data preprocessing and annotation for model training.
      • Collaborate with software engineers to deploy AI solutions on cloud platforms or local machines.
      • Translate product requirements into machine learning model specifications.
      • Optimize AI solutions for efficiency, runtime, and computational cost.
      • Document and communicate AI model designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Provide technical advisory and support decision-making processes through technical reviews.
      • Stay updated on AI technologies and trends to enhance internal capabilities.
      • Work with external partners to co-develop or improve AI solutions.
      • Share knowledge and learn collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.

      Skills and Qualifications:

      • Postgraduate/tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields.
      • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in AI model training and software engineering.
      • Proficiency in Python, with experience in frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV.
      • Familiarity with large model fine-tuning and deployment is preferred.
      • Experience deploying applications using Docker and RESTful APIs.
      • Competence in Bash and PowerShell scripting on Linux systems.
      • Practical experience in cloud environments is highly preferred.
      • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts and conduct demonstrations.
      • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and creative, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
      • Domain knowledge in homeland security is a bonus..
