      Data Scientist

      Company Overview:

      Job Description:
      As a Data Scientist, you will join a core team developing impactful data science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects. Your role will involve leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance decision-making across policy, operations, and resource management.

      Responsibilities:

      • Explore innovative data science and AI techniques to solve complex challenges.
      • Translate insights into scalable, practical solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
      • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design, build, and deploy solutions.
      • Participate in strategic projects to improve data management and analytics infrastructure.
      • Advocate for data literacy and share expertise within the organization.
      • Lead projects or develop products tailored to dynamic and varied operating environments.

      Challenges:

      • Translating complex data insights into actionable, scalable solutions.
      • Adapting to diverse and rapidly changing operational contexts.
      • Keeping abreast of rapidly evolving data science and AI technologies.

      Requirements:

      • Education in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Quantitative Social Science, or a related field.
      • Relevant training or certifications (e.g., Coursera) is advantageous.
      • At least 2 years of experience in data science, AI/ML engineering, or related fields (applicants with no experience are welcome to apply).
      • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R.
      • Familiarity with big data processing frameworks and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, SQL).
      • Experience in application development, web programming, or visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
      • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Curious, creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
