      Data Scientist, Cloud financial performance automation. Singapore.

      About our client
      Our client is an emerging provider of cloud-based financial performance management solutions.

      About the Role

      We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our client’s dynamic team to support the Asia/Global market. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving data-driven innovation and strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, design and implement data science solutions, and translate complex data analyses into actionable insights.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Data Analysis and Modeling: Leverage advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and build predictive models.
      • Data Engineering: Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
      • Model Deployment: Deploy machine learning models into production environments, monitor their performance, and iterate on them to optimize results.
      • Business Impact: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into data science problems, and deliver actionable insights that drive business growth.
      • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data science and machine learning, and explore innovative solutions to complex business challenges.

      Required Skills and Experience

      • Strong proficiency in Python or R programming languages
      • Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
      • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data mining techniques
      • Experience with SQL and data warehousing concepts
      • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
      • Strong communication and presentation skills
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
      • Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks
      • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly
      • A strong understanding of business domains, such as finance, marketing, or operations
