About the Role
The Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer will play a critical role in designing and building real-time odds machine learning models and data systems focused on live betting. This role requires applying prior skills to create highly accurate probabilities on individual activities within various sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, football, and others.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about cutting-edge research in machine learning and sports. The company is seeking an individual who stays up-to-date with the evolving field of Machine Learning Operations and can contribute to the team’s knowledge base. Responsibilities
Design and build real-time odds machine learning models and data systems.
Develop models to generate highly accurate probabilities for in-game events across multiple sports.
Stay current with advancements in Machine Learning Operations.
Contribute to and learn from a team of experts.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Proficiency in Python programming.
Strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, and regression analysis.
Experience working with sports data.
Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, etc.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
2+ years of professional experience preferred
Project experience in ML, agent-based modeling, or network analysis is a plus.
Ability to manage complex workflows and projects.
Excellent communication skills, particularly important in a remote work environment.
Team leadership experience is desirable.
A passion for and knowledge of sports.
