Cloud Engineer (AWS)

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for executing daily cloud operations and implementing cloud solutions within technical customer engagements. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from basic operations and administration to complex implementation projects and pilots.

What You’ll Do:

• Cloud Operations and Administration:
  • Apply technical expertise to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure high performance, security, scalability, and reliability of cloud configurations.
  • Implement automation strategies using tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Cloud Migration:
  • Participate in cloud migration projects using tools like CloudEndure or Azure Migrate.
  • Migrate virtual machines and databases to the cloud.
• Client Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to optimize cloud environments.
  • Participate in operational meetings, discussions, and process improvement initiatives.
• Technical Skill Development:
  • Stay up-to-date with cloud technologies and industry trends.
  • Obtain relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solution Architect Associate, AWS Cloud Practitioner).
  • Share knowledge and expertise within the team and the broader technical community.
• Problem Solving and Issue Resolution:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues efficiently.
  • Adhere to SLAs and document resolution processes.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud operations, administration, and deployment/migration projects.
• Strong technical skills in AWS cloud technologies.
• AWS Solution Architect Associate certification is preferred.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or Azure Certified Administrator/Fundamentals is required.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., EKS, AKS, GKE, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Tanzu) is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and a passion for technology.
