Cloud Project Manager (AWS)

As a Cloud Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing cloud operations within the delivery team. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including daily cloud operations, cloud implementations in technical customer engagements, and providing technical expertise and solutions to team members and clients.

What You’ll Do:

• Cloud Operations and Administration:
  • Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to efficiently operate and administer cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reusability in all configurations.
  • Implement automation principles to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Leverage tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform for automated cloud system management.
• Cloud Migrations:
  • Participate in cloud migration projects using tools like CloudEndure and Azure Migrate.
  • Experience in migrating more than 20 VMs or databases is preferred.
• Client Engagement and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with team members to engage clients in operational meetings, discussions, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to optimization efforts for client environments.
• Technical Skill Development and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies, trends, and certifications.
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with the technical community.
• Issue Resolution and SLA Management:
  • Effectively resolve technical issues and ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Document resolution processes and outcomes.

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, administration, deployment, and migration projects.
• Proven ability to solve customer problems using cloud technologies.
• Strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, migrations, and technology management.
• AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification or a relevant AWS specialty certification.
• Preferred specializations in cloud technologies, such as DevOps Certified Specialty, Database Specialty, etc.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., Windows and Linux IaaS, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation Networking, OSS).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., EKS, AKS, GKE, K8s, Openshift, Tanzu) and CKA certification.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
