Java Backend Developer

Job Description:

You will join a talented team of Developers, Manager Engineers, Test Automation Engineers, and Business Analysts. You’ll contribute to building key modules of our product, leveraging your experience to architect and build cloud applications, APIs, and backend Java services that prioritize high availability and reliability.

You’ll collaborate within your squad, working closely with individual developers and manager engineers to deliver exceptional banking software that provides real value to our customers and an outstanding user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java services.
• Adhere to our Software Development Life Cycle (based on SAFE methodology).
• Gain a deep understanding of our technology stack and actively contribute to strategic planning.
• Support the deployment and progression of services from test environments to production.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java (8+), Spring Boot, and Postgres.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices.
• Proficiency in Git and/or GitHub.
• Expertise in unit, component, and integrated component testing and associated tooling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with collaboration and project management tools, especially Rally and Confluence.
• Proficiency in API design using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and processes.
• Cloud development experience (AWS, Azure).
