Azure Cloud Architect
What You’ll Do:
Leverage your technical expertise and customer insights to craft modernization roadmaps.
Design and architect solutions that align with both business and IT objectives, ensuring technical feasibility and successful deployments.
Orchestrate key resources and integrate essential Infrastructure technologies (e.g., Windows and Linux IaaS, Security, Networking).
Guarantee that all solutions prioritize performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability.
Assess clients’ Azure platform familiarity and overall cloud readiness during pre-sales engagements.
Apply the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Design Patterns, and Well-Architected Framework to solution design in the pre-sales phase.
Collaborate with fellow Cloud Solution Architects to develop comprehensive, end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Provide accurate sizing for solution architecture designs and work with NCS partners as needed.
Partner with the implementation team to offer guidance on solution design and seamlessly transition agreed-upon solutions to the delivery architect for execution.
Stay current with technical skills, market trends, and competitive insights, actively sharing knowledge within the technical community.
Work alongside the Head of Cloud to develop new service offerings, contributing to the creation of service descriptions and scopes of work.
Collaborate with the Head of Cloud to optimize existing offerings by updating service descriptions and scopes of work.
Serve as an Azure Platform evangelist, engaging with clients, internal communities, and mentoring new team members through training and certifications.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent IT experience.
5+ years of successful experience in consultative/complex technical sales, deployment projects, architecture, design, and implementation.
Certified as an Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Proven ability to solve customer challenges through cloud technologies.
Demonstrated leadership in driving collaborative decisions, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Experience orchestrating, leading, and influencing virtual teams to achieve successful customer project outcomes.
Excellent presentation skills with a high degree of comfort addressing both large and small audiences.
Enterprise-scale technical expertise in cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
Deep domain knowledge of cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., Windows and Linux IaaS, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS).
Expert knowledge of Containers and Policy-as-Code, IaC is advantageous.
Familiarity with GCC presales working knowledge is beneficial.
Knowledge of other cloud platforms is advantageous.
Azure Sentinel knowledge and practical experience are advantageous.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel as required.
