Quality Engineer

Job Description:

Join a dynamic team of developers, engineers, and business analysts. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of critical product modules. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing robust automated and manual testing strategies for our applications, APIs, and backend Java services.

As a key contributor, you’ll collaborate closely with your team to deliver exceptional banking software that delights our customers. You’ll be involved in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and contribute to the development of efficient, reusable, and reliable Java services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for APIs and UIs
• Execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, and performance testing
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with emerging testing technologies and methodologies

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in API test automation using BDD frameworks
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman
• Solid understanding of API definitions and mocking techniques
• Expertise in Python-based BDD frameworks (Java skills are also valuable)
• Proficiency in UI automation using Selenium (Python-based)
• Ability to perform both manual and automated testing
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., QTest, HP Quality Center)
• Knowledge of testing SSL-secured API endpoints
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Buildkite)
