Systems Solution Engineer

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting in-depth engineering requirements analysis
• Developing comprehensive technical documentation, including:
  • Preliminary and final design documents
  • Statements of Work for suppliers and external contractors
  • Input/output requirements for interface management
  • Input for specialized engineering (RAMS, EMC/EMI, Cyber-Security)
  • Input for installation management
  • Operation and maintenance documentation
  • Training materials
• Collaborating with the bid team to scope and cost engineering work packages
• Working closely with contractors to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for subsystems
• Actively participating in progress meetings
• Analyzing and resolving problem change requests

Key Knowledge and Experience:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Advanced degrees are preferred
• Demonstrated engineering competencies aligning with INCOSE CSEP (or equivalent) certification are highly desirable

Essential Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering role
• Proven ability to interpret technical scope from high-level requirements
• Experience working on government and/or complex IT projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in software security projects
• Experience working within a Systems Engineering lifecycle
• Knowledge of Thales Products and Processes
• Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., INCOSE, Institution of Engineers Singapore)
