Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
• Migrate on-premises workloads to Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).
• Design and develop robust cloud infrastructure to support critical applications.
• Monitor cloud systems for optimal performance and establish best practices.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure and application deployment issues.
• Perform security updates, firmware patches, and configuration changes.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Monitor cloud component health and respond to alerts to ensure service continuity.
• Prepare detailed system architecture documentation.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong foundation in Linux/Unix and/or Windows Server administration.
• Proficiency in networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls).
• Experience in managing public cloud environments, including deploying scalable applications on IaaS, PaaS, and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
• Ability to work after hours as needed.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
