Job Description

As a Junior Cloud/Server Engineer, you will play a crucial role in contributing to a wide range of cloud-based projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, configuring, and supporting cloud platform infrastructure, encompassing both hardware and software components.
• Ensuring the smooth release and maintenance of projects in production environments, minimizing disruptions.
• Serving as a technical reference point for internal teams, providing expert advice on cloud best practices and innovative solutions.
• Guiding internal teams on their cloud adoption journey, accelerating the implementation of cloud technologies and standards, and generating comprehensive reports.
• Creating valuable technical resources, such as reference applications, starter kits, and patterns, to inspire and empower developers to leverage the full potential of the cloud.
• Representing the team in regional and global forums, sharing technical expertise and contributing to industry discussions.
• Mentoring team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Supporting the promotion of company services by providing technical assistance to clients.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Passion for emerging technologies, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving
• Strong automation mindset and a desire to streamline processes
• Fluent English language skills and excellent communication abilities
• Proven experience with Linux-based operating systems, OpenStack, CEPH, and Docker
• Familiarity with commodity hardware (Dell, HPE, etc.)
• Experience with Kubernetes (or similar container technologies) and databases (PostgreSQL, NoSQL, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with object storage (Scality, EMC ECS, etc.) and file/block storage (Pure, NetApp, EMC, etc.)
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Python, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) is a plus
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and a growth mindset
• Collaborative team player with exceptional communication skills
